Emphasys Centre organized the Kick-off meeting of the Entre4All Project in Nicosia on the 12nd and 13th of December, 2019. All consortium members were present (Center Ponovne Uporabe in Slovenia, DIMITRA Ekpaideutki Simvouleutiki A.E. in Greece, Equalizent in Austria, Razvojno Izobrazevalni Center Novomesto in Slovenia and Agios Lazaros Centre in Cyprus).

The partnership strongly collaborated to meet the project objective which refers to the provision to young adults with a disability with a three-stage upskilling pathway programme to acquire a set of essential competences such as digital and entrepreneurial to be able to meet the needs of setting up and running a social enterprise. Enterprise awareness measures are an important step to increase knowledge of self-employment as a career option and tackle the barriers to entrepreneurship arising from low levels of confidence and opportunities among aspiring disabled entrepreneurs.

The consortium envisages that through strong collaboration, communication and teamwork, the project will be effectively implemented and the project objectives will be met. The kick off meeting involved a discussion and an in-depth analysis on the implementation of the intellectual outputs to be produced and the shared-responsibilities among the partners in regards to project implementation, quality control and dissemination of the project results.
